"Uncle Henry's Apt" Tee - Interiors Series
Size

We made 2024 at hood century the “year of the interior” - and just thought a couple months ago. “Damn, we need to drop a tee or something."

So here is our 1st offering,  "Uncle Henry’s Apt" tee from our 'Interiors Series'.

Me and my brothers never got to meet uncle Henry. He died in ‘79, shot right at the front door of this apt. He lived just below Donny Hathaway in the East Village, NYC. Uncle Henry went to Pratt and studied interior design.

My uncle loved interiors and had the same exact eye as his mother. Very classic and full of colors, rich ones…. with timeless pieces from the 40’s/50’s and then some updated vibes from the 60’s and 70’s. Regal type patterns, plush carpets, rugs, window drapes, records!

Then just this summer Raphel Saadiq’s team reached out to us via IG and asked to use this one image from Uncle Henry’s archive of interior photos as promo for his ‘One Man No Bandwidth” tour. That was wild, unc Henry’s eye is soo timeless.

Honored to be a new keeper of the archive in my fam... learning how to care for them renew them enterprise them.

RIP UNCLE HENRY.
